Where 999 x Came From — and Why We Built It
The idea behind 999 x started with a frustration that a lot of Pakistani players will recognise. The international gaming platforms that accept Pakistani users treat PKR as an afterthought. You deposit in USD at unfavourable exchange rates, wait three days for a withdrawal, and when something goes wrong there's no support team that speaks Urdu or understands Pakistani time zones. The games themselves often have nothing to do with local culture — they're built for European or Southeast Asian markets and ported over with minimal adaptation.
The founding team at 999 x had that experience themselves. They were Pakistani players first, and they understood the gap between what international platforms offered and what a genuinely Pakistan-first platform could look like. So they built it.
